Welcome to Chikuni Community Radio Station 91.8 FM

Radio Chikuni is situated about 30 Kilometres South East of Monze town in the Southern Province of Zambia. This is off the main road from Lusaka to Livingstone, The Tourist Capital. To be precise, it is at Chikuni Mission established by the Jesuits in 1905. The famous St. Canisius’ High School established by the Catholic Church in 1956 to provide formal education is also in this mission. A lot of Zambians have been educated at this school. There is also Chikuni Girls High School and Charles Lwanga Teachers College also run by the Catholic Church.

It’s from this Mission that the radio station operates on 91.8 Frequency Modulation (FM) and covers a radius of 80 Kilometres. It broadcasts to all the 21 Out-stations in Chikuni Parish with an estimated potential audience of 250,000 (low estimate) and 1,000,000 (high estimate) people.
