Introduction

One of the main activities is to provide ways of making people literate in their own language and to procure literature for schools in the local language. We produce novels, anthropological work and dictionaries in order to provide the material needed for teaching Chi tonga. Our collection of books and other material can be found by title or by cover image.

We have an extensive collection of original artifacts which help the children who visit us to understand the genuine culture of the region. This mini museum brings to life the customs of the past. We also have a place which present African Design from different sub-sahara land. You can find more details about our Museum here.

Those who interested in visiting the institute should book 3 months in advance. This time is required because the institute can often be very busy throughout the year. Mukanzubos presence is often requested throughout the Zambian Southern Province and beyound so we may not be able to accomodate requests at short notice. Cultural articles can not be purchased immediately but have to be ordered. In order to book, you can find our contact details here.
